In 2008, Jimmy C. Tucker, President and CEO, leveraged his extensive IT experience, his long-held business relationships, and his success in the projects he delivered, to found Tucker-Rose Associates, LLC. After his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corp in 1990, Jimmy, a South Texas native, spent the next 18 years providing Information Technology services in Texas. Jimmy enhanced his IT knowledge base at large, private-sector organizations, like USAA; and at City and State Government agencies, like the Texas Department of Public Safety, Lower Colorado River Authority, San Antonio Water System, University Health Systems, Texas Comptroller, and Texas Department of MHMR; and at Federal Government agencies, with a pivotal engagement at the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).Jimmy’s understanding of the missions and challenges faced by the Federal Government propelled the newly formed Tucker-Rose Associates (TRA) to become a highly respected service provider of top quality Information Technology Professional Services with a commitment to customer satisfaction and outstanding employee relationships.TRA’s proven ability to get the job done right and on time helped Jimmy link with other businesses and grow his company. TRA teamed to win some of the largest VA contracts ever awarded to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).  The first of these contracts, DCAT4, was to provide a complete IT Services Solution to support the VA’s five, nation-wide Enterprise Operations (EO) Data Centers, which included more than 200 IT applications and 2,000 servers. The performance success on the DCAT4 contract encouraged the VA to award the next two contracts that replaced DCAT4, ITSS and IOSS, to the same team with the support of TRA. The VA also entrusted Tucker-Rose Associates to support the MASS contract to revamp the entire VA Scheduling System.  These awards combined are valued at 1.97 Billion Dollars.
